English translation of epitaph:

Last day of Pesach, the year (5)630

Ah!

The crown of our head fell down

The light of our eyes darkened

And the heaviness will multiply

With the death of our mother

The most modest woman

That I did not find as she,

She stretched out her hand to the poor

and to the needy her hands, Mrs.

Malka daughter of the late

Moreinu R. Mordechai of blessed memory the Great Rabbi

May her soul  be bound up in the bond of life
